Today, we are sending a shout out to business owner and foodservice hero Earl Handy.
Earl Handy is the 3rd generation owner of Handy's Lunch (@handyslunch) which has been a landmark in the Burlington, Vermont community for over 75 years.
[If he looks familiar, we featured him on our Instagram feed back in June -- but we felt we could highlight him again.]
So far he has raised over $12,500 and provided over 600 quality lunches for the kids at the Boys and Girl Club as well as the frontline nurses of the NICU and PICU at the University of Vermont Medical Center. He has help from his twins, Genevieve and Nicholas who will one day become the 4th generation.
We are honored to recognize his continuing contribution to his community.
