In June 2018, Agnieszka Rojewska successfully became the first female competitor to become World Barista Champion. HBC is lucky enough to be able to get her to share one of the recipes from her award-winning presentation (see that presentation here on YouTube). You can also read more about her background in our previous post, where she introduced herself.
We have also produced a video that features Rojewska creating her variation on Irish Coffee, or read on for the ingredients and instructions if you don't have time to watch a video:
Irish Coffee
(Recipe by Agnieszka Rojewska)
Ingredients:
Brew the coffee to your flavor requirements -- Ms. Rojewska describes hers in the video. In the meantime, add the 0% fat milk and ice cubes to your AirWhip Frothing jar on the compatible HBC high-performance blender of your choice to create the cold foam that goes on top of the drink. Ms. Rojewska has created this version of Irish Coffee without the traditional alcoholic element, which means that the maple syrup goes into the serving glass first. Then add your coffee to the glass, making sure to leave enough room at the top for your foam. Mix the coffee and the maple syrup thoroughly. Finally, pour the foam into the glass, using the back of a spoon to float it gently on top of the coffee and create distinct layers.
If you have a fun or interesting story idea, please submit it here. The best stories will be developed and published on our blog to be distributed to the international HBC Community, with your name attached. A little publicity can always help to grow your business and awareness.
