If you're looking for another way to include the iconic fruit in your holiday celebrations, this refreshing beverage features an unusual combination -- watermelon, ginger and mint. Try it as an alternative to lemonade.
Watermelon Juice with Ginger
Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups (650 g) watermelon with seeds, cut into chunks
1/2 Tbsp (5g) ginger root, peeled
1/2 lemon or lime peeled
5 fresh mint leaves
Ice cubes for serving
Instructions:
Place ingredients into a high-performance commercial blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth. Place the ice cubes into serving glasses and add the juice. Serve immediately, garnish with additional mint leaves if desired.
