This tropically inspired smoothie offers customers the fruity taste of a daiquiri without the rum. The recipe comes from Chelsea Mitts, winner of the Hamilton Beach Commercial Smoothie Contest, and combines two fruit juices, blackberries, kiwi and ice cream.
Ingredients:
½ cup apple-cranberry juice½ cup orange juice
½ cup frozen blackberries
½ cup kiwis
½ cup crushed ice
½ tsp. sugar
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
When blending frozen drinks, always use a high-performance commercial blender. Put liquid ingredients in the jar first. Follow by adding solid ingredients such as fruit and ice.
