With its Middle Eastern origins, Hummus is one of the most versatile dishes in the world. Loaded with nutrients and easy for busy kitchens to prepare in bulk, Hummus is a great addition to your menu. One of the most popular ways to spice it up is to add roasted red peppers.

Ingredients
1 can (30 oz.) of garbanzo beans (rinsed and drained)
2 cloves of garlic
1/3 cup of olive oil*
3 lemons, juiced
6 oz. sesame tahini
1 large roasted red pepper, quartered (roasted red peppers in the jar can be substituted)
1 teaspoon cumin or to taste
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Place all ingredients in the HBF600R blender jar.
2. Press the CHOP function and use the variable speed dial, starting on 1 (low speed), and increasing to 4 until all ingredients are well blended and process until smooth.
3. Use the CHOP function with half of the oil, add the remaining oil through the dosing cup once smooth consistency is made.*
4. Press STOP when desired consistency is reached.
