The Macuá is a delicious cocktail made from guava juice and white rum. In October 2006, the Macuá was chosen as the national cocktail of Nicaragua.

Ingredients:
2 oz. of white rum
2 oz. guava juice
1 oz. lemon juice
2 tsps. sugar
Instructions:
Shake the ingredients together in a mixer with ice. Strain into a highball glass over more ice. Can be blended in a high performance blender for a smoother consistency.
