That’s what we did to the classic Hamilton Beach Commercial® blenders: the 908® Bar Blender, the Rio®, the Tango® (shown here), and the EXPEDITOR™510 and EXPEDITOR™510S, part of our family of culinary blenders.

Hamilton Beach Commercial amped up the motor on all of these new models, doubling the horsepower for each. The newly redesigned jar clutch design is easier to replace, too. The stainless-steel jar has a new design that’s engineered for better blend performance, plus a triple-seal lid.

Meet the new 908®R Bar Blender

We built the 908® on a simple premise: that a high-quality commercial blender could be affordable. Why purchase a consumer blender that's built for home use, burn out the motor and replace the unit every few months when the low-priced 908®R Bar Blender can work reliably, night after night?

For more than 50 years, bartenders and kitchen staff have appreciated the 908’s durable construction and simple toggle-switch operation. We kept those key features and upgraded:

• The blender jar, which is now taller and wider. The jar has the same 44-ounce/1.3 L capacity as before, but with nearly 2 inches of head space, allowing more room to blend ingredients. The jar also features Wave~Action® design for an ultra-smooth blend — just like our top-of-the-line bar blenders.
• The jar lid, for a tighter seal.
• The motor, which now has one full horsepower, resulting in a significant reduction in blend times
• The exterior, which has a new design reminiscent of vintage Hamilton Beach Commercial blenders.

Give the new Rio® and Tango® a spin 

Undergoing similar upgrades are our other bar champs: the Rio® and its big brother, the Tango®. These powerful bar blenders now have double the peak horsepower: 1.6 Hp for the Rio® and 2.4 Hp for the Tango®.

You’ll notice that the Rio® and Tango® have a fresh look, too. Both now feature:

• A new modern, industrial design
• A BPA-free copolyester jar with a wider profile and Wave~Action (a stainless-steel jar is also available)
• A solid jar lid with a removable silicone gasket for a leak-resistant seal — just like on the high-end Quantum blender
• Sealed paddle switches, which are wider, water-resistant and more user-friendly

If they can’t help you fix the problem on-site, then they’ll rush a replacement to your location so service won’t skip a beat. We’ll send a box and materials for you to ship the malfunctioning blender back to Hamilton Beach Commercial — and we’ll pay the shipping costs.
